Royalty

I’m also lucky to be collaborating with the London based group Royalty. I’m really exited – can’t wait to show you guys the new stuff.

Yesterday we spent some late hours in our studio with mr. ST 2 Lettaz from G-Side, after their brilliant show at Sentrum scene. It looks like I’m on facebook or something, but NO, I’m focusing on lyrics, all true! The Basmo guys are nerding in a corner as usual! I’m really lucky to be working with such talented (and hot) people <3

Today my album “Château Faux-Coupe” is released in Japan through Flake Records! You can get the album here. I will also do a Japan tour in July, the dates and venues are TBC – stay tuned!

Château Faux-Coupe

Last Friday we released the vinyl for my new album “Château Faux-Coupe” (yes, it´s a play on words…), and it is also available in WiMP for streaming. We digged deep into 70s fusion, Minneapolis funk and even som 90s hip hop on this one, and I had a lot of fun during the process! I was fortunate enough to have legendary Jimmy Douglass mix it, and we had had a great time in his Miami studio this summer. Hope you like it! You can get the vinyl at Oslo Records or at Platekompaniet, and stream it through WiMP. To be released on CD/iTunes/Spotify and so on on November 4th.
The vinyl comes with the 32 page book “MV” from Pål Laukli and Gary Swindell´s photo exhibition in Oslo last week!

H&M loves music & fashion, so do I!

Nå er det klart for en ny runde med “H&M loves” konseptet og jeg er veldig glad for å være en del av juryen. H&M loves music & fashion er temaet denne gangen og jeg skal, sammen med Celine og Annabel i ukene fremover velge ut stilikoner, og tilslutt kåre en vinner. Frem til 1.Juli har vi fått i oppgave å tolke ”Music & Fashion” på vår måte via denne bloggen. Itillegg har jeg også min egen “utstilling” i H&M sitt inspirasjonsområde i H&M-gården i Bogstadveien 11, i H&M Oslo City og H&M Karl Johan, der jeg har mine utvalgte favorittplagg som gjenspeiler min stil.
Jeg har også min egen spilleliste på spotify som jeg synest dere bør sjekke ut.
